Revima expands its Coating technologies and Engine Parts Repair capabilities on CF6-80, CF6-50, PW2000, PW4000 & CFM56-5A/5B

 

In the last six months Revima Engine Parts Repair has accelerated the repair capabilities expansion of its subsidiary located in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône (SOA), Greater Paris Area, France.

20.000 sq. ft new layout has been qualified over the last six months to develop new business lines to serve extended repair capabilities of turbine components (ATA 72), APU components (ATA 49) and exhaust systems (ATA 78). Amongst them, platinum coating associated with aluminization diffusion coating of blades and vanes, sheet metal work devoted to large exhaust components for CF6-80, CF6-50, PW2000 and PW4000 platforms as well as ATR42/72 aircraft, and pipes and manifold systems repairs for CFM56-5A/5B.

Revima Engine Parts Repair has also expanded its APU Component repair capabilities and was selected to develop repairs of sealing parts of Leap-1A/1B engines in the next weeks. These developments just followed the recent qualification of maintenance capabilities of afterburner sections of M53 engine (for Mirage-2000 military fighter).

Finally, three major investments are being commissioned right now: one robotized arc-wire welding equipment to restore abradable areas of cold section compressor components and hot section turbine stages, one full integrated APS (Atmospheric Plasma Spraying) booth to spray ceramic coating and one 5-axis CNC milling machine for large parts (1000mm diameter).
